Hello everyone! I appreciate your patience these last couple weeks, I’ve been aiming for Tuesday release dates for the podcast but due to some health issues within our family that schedule has shifted. We’ll get back into a Tuesday rhythm next week unless something unforeseeable happens.
In our last episode we visited Genesis 1 and began seeking to understand the Bible’s account of Creation. You may remember, too, we looked at couple other ANE (“Ancient Near East”) creation myths, that of the Egyptians and that of Babylon (Mesopotamian). As with all ancient creation myths around the globe, these two were firmly rooted in a Haunted worldview. One where creation is tied closely to the work of elohim, or spiritual beings.
In this week’s episode we turn our gaze forward in time and consider what our Western culture believes about creation, which draws heavily upon a WYSIWYG worldview.
