Hello everyone! We continue our journey of surveying the denizens of the kingdom of darkness which began with the nameless “serpent” in Genesis 3. In today’s episode we will finish that conversation by tracing the “serpent” theme through the rest of scripture. These podcasts aren’t in depth studies, for that I would suggest you visit and utilize some of the additional resources linked below in these show notes.
To prepare you for where we’re going today, I would encourage you to read Psalm 74:12-19. It reads:
12 Yet God my King is from of old,
working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 You divided the sea by your might;
you broke the heads of the sea monsters on the waters.
14 You crushed the heads of Leviathan;
you gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.
15 You split open springs and brooks;
you dried up ever-flowing streams.
16 Yours is the day, yours also the night;
you have established the heavenly lights and the sun.
17 You have fixed all the boundaries of the earth;
you have made summer and winter.18 Remember this, O Lord, how the enemy scoffs,
and a foolish people reviles your name.
19 Do not deliver the soul of your dove to the wild beasts;
do not forget the life of your poor forever.
Coming out of today’s podcast we’ll continue to flesh out our understanding of the chief Enemy, Satan. Here is a brief preview of the next few episodes:

the word and history of “daimonion”, where we get “demons
We’ll end this series by looking at the physical rebels working with the Enemy, the Nephilim.
And of course, once we finish this series, we’ll turn our attention to YHWH’s kingdom! As always, the goal for these podcasts is to develop a biblical understanding of the spiritual world that surrounds and involves us (whether we realize it or not!).
