#3 - Untangling Non-Biblical Worldviews

In today’s episode we cover 5 broad categories of worldviews.

1. Haunted Worldview - such as polytheism, paganism, and neopaganism. The emphasis here is on the spirit.

2. WYSIWYG Worldview - short for “what-you-see-is-what-you-get”. The emphasis here is on the material world. Naturalism, materialism, agnosticism, and atheism all fall into this category.

3. Dueling-Yodas Worldview - such as Zoroastrianism, Taoism, stoicism and cynicism. These worldviews at least recognize that there exists a dual reality - between dark and light.

4. Omnipresent Supergalactic Oneness Worldview - these hold that all are one and that everything is connected together via spirit. Examples include pantheism, holism, monism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.

5. Designer Religions/Worldviews - these are cobbled together mostly to feel accepted by the culture.
